Hello.
Since my last post, a few things have changed. Firstly, i'm now a licensed driver! Well technically at least because i've a temporary driver's license and the actual one containing my butt-ugly photo only comes out two weeks after i pass, which makes it next week.
Which brings me to my next point...
I'm enlisting this Friday. :( Just 3 days to go before i go on my adventure camp on tekong. Haha. Vast understatement but i guess i'm gonna make the best of it... Although as of now i'm a "three-fighter", about 6 to 7 kilos heftier (fatter) than i was when i went for my medical check up and a whole lot closer to my enlistment date. I will be enlisting on the 11th of April at 1130am at BMTC School One - my new home away from home for the next months. I guess while i'm away on the jungle-covered, water-surrounded, testosterone-filled-air island of tekong, i'm gonna miss all my friends a lot... Including you-know-who who qualifies as a friend too. Haha i think i'll make random phone calls on some nights so everybody please be nice.
So last Friday i had a great night out with jonjanjingminyanshush at suntec. Last dinner with friends you could call it... Kinda made a few people upset over various reasons (all of which i'm really sorry for) but i guess i still enjoyed that night pretty much. Oh it was my first time driving unsupervised too... So i got to send a few people home.
And now i'm fretting over "in the event of shortlist" medicine preparations coz i'll be bloody confined for the first 2 weeks such as personal statement, letters of recommendation (thankfully i've got two really kind people to help me write them) and list of cca. Gosh it's damn hard to write a personal statement on a "topic" which is rather unspecific (if it qualifies as a topic at all), make the thing look presentable and most of all, do all this while there's ns looming on the horizon and i'm praying that i will be able to take all of it.
Then there's smu interview with the school of accountancy tomorrow... Sigh. Not very high on my list of thing to do though... But it's still really important. Oh well i shall just try my best with that...
I realise i'm contented with the way things are going with it and i'd be quite happy if they stayed the same for the next few years at least. One step at a time. If it's His will (same goes for medicine too).
Perhaps there might be a few more posts before i enlist.
Perhaps not.
Oh and i'll be shaving my head before i enlist. Hahahahaha.
