Hmm. I realise the last time i blogged i was "a year" younger. Lol so now i'm 18. Doesn't feel any different though and nothing's changed so yeah... Anyway lotsa things have happened since the last time i posted...
Hmm saturday was band and stj and we went through the entire j1-guys-take-off-your-shirt-and-pants-and-stand-in-the-sea ritual. Achieved by 1. setting up a game that they couldn't win and 2. getting j2 guys to join em in the stand in the sea ritual (except j2 guys came prepared with a second pair of shorts and walked out of the sea happily while the poor j1s got to soak in cold sea water in nothing but their undies). Mean eh? Haha. Well i didn't join in though... Oh and i got to start my first barbeque fire with supervision from weijie of course. Other than that... There was a cake for the celebration of the birthdays of the "February Babies". Lol. Oh and thanks qy for the watch with the cartoon character that you seem to think looks like me. Do i really look that stressed and irritable? Lol. Haha actually to be honest that's like one of two gifts i received (pathetic eh?). My relatives/parents seem to have taken up the idea of giving me cash instead. But where's the fun in that? Lol. Thank you clarinet section also.
Yea so that was pretty much how "that-special-day" ended. Lol. I dunno to me it's just like any other day eh? My family had this big dinner on the eve of my birthday but hmm... I kinda felt that it wasn't that neccessary? Oh well. Maybe it's just me...
Oh and i must say that my juniors seem nicer than i had thought. Hahaha. Okay i hope they're not reading this. More specifically my new clarinet juniors (yuxuan and huileng); their actually a lot less "dao" then they seem. Quite friendly in fact. So probably not a good idea to judge people via your first impressions. Okay daryl and junsen i've known them since vs so yea... Kinda the same. Okay except back in vs i didn't really show the crappy side of me to my juniors.
Hmm i don't know if this is good news but my project got through the preliminary rounds of the SSEF. So now i've gotta prepare for that as well. Which also means that i'll be taking my CT for bio and chem on the monday and tuesday of the march hols. Zzzz... I think i've kinda gotten used to the work. Imagine how much less burdened i'd feel once i get this out of the way...
Yea. Lastly, 14 Feb, Valentine's Day. Probably one of the most over-rated days of the year. In the words of "wise ol' Nasrul", there're 364 other days of the year to find your valentine/ ask someone out/ go out with your special friend. So what makes 14 Feb so special? Lol. Looking past the fact that it sounds like someone being a wet blanket, there's actually a whole lot of truth in it. The usual flowers, cookies, chocolates, mufffins and the list goes on... Let's see... Angel-mortal reveal for class and band, shidahsindhu'srock muffins that were actually fabulously chocolatey on the inside, pencil from caronjeanliting...
Oh then there's the whole big commotion... Well apparently a certain plan i had didn't turn out quite as i had expected or hoped for. Quite disappointing really and it generated a whole lot of tension too. So sad... Sigh... That's all i shall say about it here... For now... Hope it's resolved by tuesday next week when the class meets up for cny.
